Benjamin Mastin
High School Basketball Coach
With a unique professional background, I have found success in coaching not just basketball but life, character development, and also providing direction to student athletes. My “end goal” is that my players might achieve a high level of skill as well as develop an appreciation for discipline, sportsmanship, and teamwork.
Experience
I began coaching high school basketball at 19yrs old at Shoals Christian. After a year, I was hired by Coach Brian Pounders and the Deshler Tigers to be a Varsity Assistant. My main focus while at Deshler was individual skill development, as well as assisting with in game scouting and game adjustments. On March 21st, I was hired by Addison High School to be their Head Boys Basketball Coach, becoming the youngest head coach in the state of Alabama at the time (21yrs old).
